Banshees: The Game

Each year on St Patrick’s Day, Cogs & Marvel (a Dublin-founded agency) would produce something just for ourselves to share with the world. Something brazenly, unapologetically Irish. For 2023, with the Oscars right around the corner, we adapted The Banshees of Inisherin into a fully playable retro game about collecting fingers and avoiding friendship.

There’s a plucky retro soundtrack, which is always a treat, and Inisherin’s comedy isn’t lost in translation… I’ll be spending the rest of today trying to beat the game and see its last few jokes.
